I got my fiance a gift certificate online (which CANNOT be used in the actual store) for our anniversary. It took him about 7 months to find something on the website that he actually liked, and he ordered a couple of accessories to match it. He got an email a few days later saying that the primary item was out of stock and would not be shipped till like September (over a month away). Then he got another automatic email pushing the shipping date on the primary item back even further to sometime in October. Then the package of accessories arrived at my place, and when I looked at the invoice, I saw that the primary item was not going to be shipped at all. He tried to log in to his account online to verify that, and the website told him that he was not in the system. So I tried to log into my account just to see if it would work, and I got the same message. We both called numerous times to find out why they never informed him that the item was "out-of-stock and not going to be reordered", and they told us that they have too many customers to notify about things like that. (Meanwhile, he got at least 2 AUTOMATIC emails telling him of delayed shipment dates, and we both STILL get numerous advertisement emails from them.) When asked why our accounts weren't working, they told us they had recently "upgraded" their system, and "lost" some customers' information. VERY PROFESSIONAL! WHAT AN UPGRADE! (So how was he supposed to check the status of his order then?) Our main point was that he would have canceled the whole order if he'd have known the main item was never going to be shipped. What's the point of having accessories that don't match anything? So now we're going to have to pay to send back the items, after paying $11.00 for shipping in the first place! They absolutely refuse to refund the shipping fees. On top of that, they will not refund the balance on the gift certificate, so we still have money tied up with this joke of a retailer! TAKE MY ADVICE, GO TO VICTORIA'S SECRET! The store, service, and products are much classier. |

| I've ordered from Fredericks multiple times and have never had a problem. Things here are much more beautiful than anything at Victoria's Secret and much more reasonably priced. I've never waited more than a week and a half for shipping but the shipping is a bit pricy in the first place.
Overall, if you're looking for sexy lingerie in many styles and colors that is affordable, this is the best place to go. |
