Beware!!! If you order from the clearance or sale section, your shipping and handling are based on the original cost. This fact is hidden deep, deep in their web-site. I placed and order for $40.00 of product and shipping and handling charges were over $35.00. Customer service offered no apology for the confusion and was down right rude. I will never order from H and D again

They made good on 2 orders
I\'ve ordered several times and received gifts. Tip#1 eat the pears right away, unrefrigerated. They\'re extraordinary. Tip#2 H&D shipped my orders according to my requested date, but UPS holds them in the Oakland warehouse to match the requested arrival date. The pears were therefore past their prime. It took a couple emails before they offered, but Harry & David honored their guarantee and shipped new pairs to each of my recipients. H&D needs to add a \"to arrive by\" option so they don\'t get oberripe.

problem with order
Had a problem with order that took 2 months to resolve...they didn't fulfill the order that was placed, took 6 phone calls and 2 months~~NOT HAPPY

SHipping Charges
Handling and shipping charges were insane. In order to use my 35 dollar gift card I could only buy 2 flowers for $10 each and thnen the rest of the cardswas eaten up by shipping & handeling & taxes. WHo charges sales tax on the internet ? I appear to be spoiled by most merchants that offer free shipping

My Mom lvoes getting the fruit cake
Each year I send my Mom one of the fruit cakes with pineapple and walnuts. She loves getting it and enjoys each morsel. I have always had good service and delivery of these products.

Hello! As a supervisor FOR Harry and David located at the Eastern Distribution center of Ohio, it pains me to see a remote bad experience such as this when I know personally how much our customers mean to us. I shall apologize on behalf of the Customer Service Associate that did not. I am sorry you have that awful memory with us. We take great pride in servicing an exceptional shopping experience with us that I feel you shouldn't leave on a bad note. Please allow us the opportunity to make it right. I ASSURE you, and anyone else, that if there is EVER a problem concerning an order, that WE, the SUPERVISORS, are there year round to handle it if the Customer Service Associate does not. I strongly encourage you, and anyone else that has had, or is having, an unsatisfactory time with us, to CALL US. ASK for a manager. We WILL make it right! This is and always has been our mission. I feel as a Supervisor, I shall at least attempt an explaination on a 35.00 shipping charge with a 40.00 order. The item and/or items were discounted from our merchants. However, our shipping isn't able to be because it still costs US the same to ship it out. Most shipping is based on weight of an item but without physically seeing the situation, I cannot fluently say exactly what happened and how those charges applied. I am assuming that the items had a TREMENDOUS amount off to have shipping charges in that vicinity but in any event, for whatever reason, we certainly would've helped make that a bit easier for you. Please. Give us a call. Have a wonderful shopping day!
