We reserved 11 rooms for a conference and when making reservations were told that they often work with people on parking ($13 per day). They said to come into hotel and then they would give us free passes, etc. and the guy who made some of the reservations acted like it was something they did all the time. This past week we have been getting ready for conference and I went to the hotel (60 miles away) and the person who could authorize free parking was not in. I was assured he would call the next day. He did not. I called the next day after that and talked to someone who said they would follow up for me on Monday. On Monday I received and email saying they would not help with the parking. Then the next day they said the lady who made reservations really was talking to someone in another state and the would not give the parking free. (My daughter is meeting me for 2 days so the parking alone will now cost $52 unless we reschedule our rooms...still trying to get somewhere but feel they have misled us. We have over 40 women and now have to pay the $13 per night per vehicle. Very discouraged with the Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown Kansas City, MO.
