My dog freaks out
I got a Roomba as a Christmas present and left it sitting in the closet. When I finally pulled it out and tried it, it was a blast. Aside from cleaning my house, it was pure entertainment watching my dog with it.

How does this thing work?
I figured out how to vacuum my house with the Roomba. It is soooooo kewl! I still can't figure out how they get it to go everywhere in my house.

Not great
I can leave the Roomba to vacuum my house for an entire day and I'll come back from work and I'll still need to vacuum certain areas. Maybe the Roomba is good for cleaning some things, but not if you have hard to get corners of the room.

my grandson put his kitten in the toilet and flushed it and so we had to remove the kitten from his house to my house. i inherited a kitten which soon became a cat. a large cat that sheds regularly. the extra need for vacuuming (after 3 years)was solved by ROOMBA. this is one product that really works!! it saves me a lot of time and solves my cat hair problem. ROOMBA WORKS GREAT.

I love Roomba so much !!! I own 4 of them, each one has a certain room to clean. I am so blessed to have them, and everytime the results are amazing.

repair to scooba
i have had numerous problems with my scooba. it started by not picking up the water, then not being able to turn on and finally a very short run time. i was sent a replacement part to pick up the water but had to return entire scooba to have repaired. i'am currently waiting for a replacement battery after only five months of use. when scooba works it does a fairly decent job but so far it seems to be down more often than working properly. everyone at irobot has been very helpful but i'am getting a little discouraged with the down time and wonder how many batteries i will have to purchase in the future to keep scooba running properly.

phoneing customer support
I love my irobot because i have bad respiratory problems ,but i really get red hot angry when i call customer support and you wait a hour or longer to try and talk to someone. If i am lucky to get coustomer support they are pretty helpfull and nice. something needs to be done about the phone calling part.

My Roomba is a lemon
We received the Roomba for Christmas 2005. Within 2 months it didn't work and I had to pay to ship it back. After it was returned I used it for 2 more months and again it did not work properly. It was not returned until after we left our winter home in May. We returned Oct 17th and used it for less than 2 months and again it is not working properly. We have done everything that customer service as suggested we try. For the cost of this machine it is a piece of junk. I enjoyed using it when it worked but 2 months of use is not satisfactory.

I Hate IRobot
I have had 3 roombas and 2 scoobas. I have a love/hate relationship with them. For the short amount of time they work properly, they are wonderful. Most of the time they are broken and I'm waiting for parts. They are "down" 60% of the time! IRobot customer support is not great.

Roomba red
I have owned four(4) reds and they did not last the full year warranty. When they work they are great, but I hope they cam be made to last longer. My current machine is a 416 and so far so good. Overall, I love the machine because I am disabled but I cannot afford to keep re-purchasing.

I own two Roobas. They are great when they work. They are too expensive to only work for a couple of months then I have to replace parts which are also very expensive.

I have 1 for my vacation home and used it twice and then the battery quit charging. Buy a conventional vacuum, it is not worth the trouble and cost!

Roomba & Warranties
I've had several vacuums and they seem to last about 15 months and then give up the ghost. I finally ended up buying the last two at Sharper Image and getting a three year warranty - and both have been returned under that warranty. I wish Sharper Image was selling them now. I do love the convenience though, so will invest in yet another one!
