I LOVE JTV, I LOVE COLLECTING GEMSTONES AND IT IS MY NEW HOBBY, THEIR RETURN POLICY WHICH I HARDLY EVER USE IS WONDERFUL, BUT I DO HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE WEBSITE ALOT AND I ALWAYS ORDER ONLINE , FINDING COUPONS IS A GREAT TREAT.

JUST LOVE JTV .. I HAVE PURCHASED OVER HUNDRED ITEMS AND WAS VERY HAPPY WITH ALL BUT TWO.. THE RETURN POLICY IS GREAT..WAS CREDITED BACK TO MY CREDIT CARD IN ABOUT 10 DAYS.. AND THE SHIPPING IS THE VERY BEST. I RECIEVE MY ITEMS IN ABOUT 3 DAYS THEY HAVE REALLY IMPROVED ON SHIPPING I USED A CREDIT CARD SO I DON.T KNOW HOW FAST IT IS WITH CHECKS.. what happened?

i need to say 13yrs ago you were a company that really took the time to care and listen about your customers needs and you gave a good product to woman,who may not have been able to afford real gold jewelry,you were small and misty was your host.now you became so large with hosts that go on and on to the point of changing the channel,tamara and sharon we need a break from and it is not just me,there is 54 of us that buy from you.the new guys have no real idea about reaching women and find there presence a little disturbing.you left behind the best of yourself and it again proves bigger is not always better.your real bargins,real excitement is a thing of the past and sadly you left the best of yourself a couple years ago.we are on the outside looking in,so our judgement is real and sincere as you once were,now it is all about profit, you left behind middle class and now flaunt 1000 to 10,000 dollar jewelry and talk about hollywood and all of this talk,no one wants to hear.your turn tables were your greatest asset that set you apart from the rest of the boring boring other t.v channels,now you even have models wearing your jewelry what a waste,the jewelry looks no different on the host ,all this,and for what?bigger is not always better and you are now proof of that.your customer service ought to be ashamed of some of the comments that in the last couple years they have made,but then again you do not hear because sadly you stopped listening,what you shosw on t.v there should not be any doubt that is what you will be receiving,what happened to you?go back to diamonds in the jewelry,in real gold ,you will still be millionares and care about those who were loyal and came back time after time because you were different ,you are sadly missed.thank-you

I love JTV. Real gemstones, set in real gold and silver, not gold tone base metal, for less than costume prices in many cases. Thanks to JTV, I can afford to spoil myself with a modest collection of real jewelry, not junk.

I don't care what they say, they have sent out several kits, parcels that have several damaged stones, my friend got hooked on all the hipe of only origin,no more mines etc and spent her social security $ because they said it was a good investment, more than 1/2 are damaged, she has 10 50 jar boxes full. It's a joke I feel so sorry for her.She has well over 4k in topaz, amethyst garnet etc cheap gems. Whats bad I have watched this and bought a green lab and it was so dark and had scratches on it and the top hadsomething on it. Sent it back what a waste and by the way it takes a long time to get your $ back.

About 40% of JTV's stuff is good. The good stuff sells FAST! The rest is awful beyond words: They rarely, if ever, grade their larger diamonds; the white accent diamonds are frosty and shouldn’t even be used in jewelry; colored stones can be cut with the cullet off-center, chips, cracks, windowed; some metal can be poorly finished so that it could scratch you,or so thin and chintzy that it breaks. HOWEVER, if you can afford to order more than one of an item which you like, AND don't mind spending on shipping cost both to get and send back merchandise, you might find some really great deals and beautiful pieces of jewelry. Ordering more than one of an item gives you a "choice." I suspect that JTV's quality control is non-existent. So if you get more than one of an item, you can pick the best, hopefully something which resembles what they show on TV! Their NY mfgr close-out sale was 85% great...the way JTV stuff was about 3-4 years ago. Their hosts are way too gabby, sometimes spending too much time on one item. Their customer support is pleasant but not the greatest since they don't know much more than is written on the site ads. For me, lately, their jewelry is getting boring...too plain and repetitive; not enough creative style; and they rarely have my size! The mixed gem parcels are a waste of money: common, small or damaged stones of little value. Once upon a time their parcels were much better. But what does one do with 200 smallish garnets of various size and shape? And, it costs quite a bit of money to buy books and equipment in order to accurately identify the stones in the parcels…been there, done that. Why does every gemstone with a min. weight always weigh more when they show it on TV? Because it’s the best they have! The online coupons work: one each month for a 10% discount, and one for free shipping. I will continue to follow JTV, but now take their information with a grain of salt, and order more than one of an item so that I can choose the best, or at least something which resembles what they show on TV. If none are good, back they all go. Good luck! Oh, and NEVER re-size a ring when you order it…you will probably regret it.

Have been shopping with them for about 5 years. Have wonderful jewelry I would never have if it weren't for them. They have changed over the years, some good, some bad. Love their new jewelry designs, and sterling silver jewelry. Sad to see credit cards, etc. coming to the company. Recently online shipping has gone from 1st piece, $4.99 to 1st piece, $6.99. It just means I will buy less, and search harder for free shipping coupons. I find the shows entertaining and educational, but recently too much about diamonds and tanzanite. I like diamonds, but I like a variety, too. Not that fond of tanzanite. Prefer sapphire and London blue topaz. They also recently lost Cheryl Ellis, one of my favorite hosts, but I don't know why. Miss her. Shop carefully and you will get good buys from JTV.

YES TOO GABBY

THIS WAS A GREAT COMPANY COUPLE YRS AGO. MORE SELECTIONS AT BETTER PRICES. THERE IS NONEXISTANT QUALITY CONTROL. AFTER A COUPLE ORDERS I FIGURED OUT IT WAS A LUCK OF THE DRAW JEWELERY SHOW. SOMETIMES YOU ACTUALLY GOT WHAT THEY WERE ADVERTISING AND YOU WERE ORDERING. IT DIDNOT BOTHER ME MUCH BECAUSE INBETWEEN THE CRAPPY STUFF YOU ACTUALLY GOT SOME DECENT BARGINS. I HAD TO SEND A LOT BACK. BUT THE PRICES WERE SO GOOD YOU DIDN'T MIND. I FIGURED AT THE PRICES I WAS PAYING FOR STUFF SOME OF IT MIGHT NOT BE THAT GOOD. BUT SOMETIMES THE LUCK OF THE DRAW WAS ON MY SIDE, SO I DIDN'T MIND. THE COUPONS ON LINE REALLY HELPED MAKE UP FOR ALL THE RETURNS I HAD TO PAY FOR. I FIGURED OUT IN THE END I DID OK. NOW THO SOME OF THE STUFF IS GETTING TO BE PRICED AS HIGH AS THE OTHER T.V. SHOWS WITH OUT THE QUALITY. ALSO THE SHIPPING COSTS ARE RIDUCULOUS. SHOW HOSTS JUST RAMBLE ON. THEY STAY ON SOME STUFF WAY TOO LONG. WELL ITS LIKE ANYTHING ELSE WE THE CUSTOMER MADE THEM BIG AND THEY ARE NOW FORGETTING ABOUT US. BUT THATS OK IN A FEW MONTHS WHEN ALL OF US QUIT ORDERING THEY WILL GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THE CLOUDS AND MAYBE GET BACK TO WHO THEY WERE.

Progress

I would have to agree with those who feel that JTV has changed. Although there are still some great deals to be gotten there, they are fewer and farther between. I still feel that their customer service is one of the better ones. In my experience it always takes longer to receive a refund on a returned item than it did to process your original order no matter which company you are ordering from. The biggest problem with JTV now is that they have become much bigger and better known and in an effort to profit from that growth they are becoming like everybody else. And they have lost some of the more personable and down to earth hosts like cheryl, Valerie and Janine. I have lost some of my interest in watching. I used to watch every evening and learned alot from their knowledge about gemstones. Now it just sounds like a bunch of sales hipe. Too bad for JTV. I still tune in but I think that they have lost their genuine people friendly feel. I wish that they would go back to the good old days.

poor quality

I have bought several things from them and it's never like it looks on tv or their website. I have returned over 90% of items. it takes too long to get a refund and twice they gave me the runaround for 2-3 weeks telling me they never received my items when I kept giving them the USPS confirmation and name of their employee who sihned. Will never recomend this store to anybody

Going Down Hill in Quality

I have been a customer of JTV for about 5-years now, and noticed about 3 years ago that the quality of your merchandise was taking a nosedive while your prices were jumping for the moon. I think that you have become too big and not concerned about your products or your customers. For example, I just purchased 4 rings...none of them were true to size. I could return them, but they were all sold out in a larger size. So now, I get to resize them at my cost! One was so rough on the interior that it almost cut my daughter\\\'s finger. Where is your qulaity control...China?

Quality (or lack thereof)

I have been a JTV customer for about 3 years. My husband told me he wanted to upgrade my wedding ring for our 5th anniversary so naturally I started shopping JTV online. What a joke. Even in the pictures you can see how poor the diamond quality is. Whatever happened to quality control? Does anybody even care anymore?

JTV is sliding fast

Please don't buy any of their fissure filled rubies or saphires (FF), they are glass filled and worthless. Prices go up and quality is going down. Poor diamonds, light weight settings that are uncomfortable. Never seem to put the nicer stuff up for auction. People are bidding way too high on auctions-they are just that-auctions-should be able to get things for less, but some are willing to pay more than what it is on JTV.com for gosh sakes.

JTV IS GOING DOWN HILL. LIKE THE OTHER VIEWERS STATED, THEY TALK WAY TOO MUCH AND TAKES FOREVER TO TELL YOU THE PRICE OF THE JEWELERY. SHUT UP AND GET TO THE POINT. THEY ALSO BARELY SHOW THE BACK OR UNDER GALLERY OF THE JEWELERY. SHIPPING IS WAY TOO COSTLY. I LOSE MONEY WHEN I HAVE TO SEND SOMETHING BACK THAT COST LESS THAN THE SHIPPING.
