| Poor Customer Service |

I have been a frequent customer in the 3875 Paradise Valley store. I am us sure why, but the service as degraded lately. Today I went in to make a purchase and to get an updated rebate form. The cashier (Kurt) ripped the document and shoved it at me. After the purchase, Kurt dropped the change in my hand while having casual conversation to another employee. It feels like the customer is no longer the emplasis. I feel that the surrounding competitors provide better customer service, and I now go to them for my autopart needs. Remember, Kragen management...IT'S ABOUT CUSTOMERS, the livelyhood of your organization depends on it. In addition, don't forget about the Pareto rule - the 80/20 rule - 20% of your employees lead to 80% of your problems. What's the solution? Training, reinforcing, and monitoring. No rocket science here...just common sense.

On line purchase that was okay to pick up at local store, was not there after I got there, at the agreed time. Had to wait until the next day. |

I purchased a Powerbuilt tool set from the Kragen in Indio, CA several months ago. While using the set yesterday, one of the tools broke. When I went in today to exchange the tool, the assistant manager refused to exchange it without the original recipt. Powerbuilt tools have a lifetime warranty and this is the first time I have been refused an exchange for a broken tool. Very poor customer service. if this is the same throughout the business,I will no longer frequent Kragen with my business. |
