| Get on the net |
Reviewer : John (Hartford, CT) |
| Netscape is a very solid internet service provider. If you don't have access to the internet, you should really think about going with Netscape. Netscape has long been good with their internet browser, but their internet service provider is even better. Their dial-up internet is speedy and is very reliable, which are the two most important things for an internet service provider. The worst thing in the world is getting dial-up internet from a service provider that is constantly going down, or always lagging. Netscape ISP is a leader in this area, and anyone who needs internet should consider them. |

| Cheap and reliable |

| I've tried a bunch of different internet service providers, and Netscape ISP was always one of the best. It is really reliable, and the dial-up internet is very fast for what it is. I really have not had any problems with it. The best part might be just how low the prices are. I would say it is by far the best way to go for cheap internet access. Sure, it would be great to have DSL, but you have to pay upwards of $50/month for that. For a fraction of that you have cheap internet access that is just as reliable. |

| just get DSL |
Reviewer : Tim (San Jose, CA) |
| Getting internet access through the Netscape ISP is fine, but is no different than the dozens of other ISPs offering the "fastest" dial-up internet access out there. It's pretty much all that same. Some are slightly better, slightly more reliable, but cheap internet access is cheap internet access, regardless of what bells and whistles are used. If you really want to surf the net in style, pay the extra dollars for DSL (or even cable)- it is definitely worth it and much better than dial-up. I guess if you just want cheap internet, Netscape is fine. If you are wavering between the two, however, go for the DSL. It makes a HUGE difference and is worth it. |

Netscape is what it is. Cheap. You get what you pay for. They are difficult to contact. Although pleasant once you DO get someone on the phone, it's always just a quick fix. You'll be calling again. Don't bother emailing their tech support. You'll never get a response. |
